Psalm 27

First read Psalm 27 in your favorite translation. If you don't have a hard copy of the Bible readily available you can google "on line Bible" below and go to either gateway or crosswalk. There are many translations at each site.

I am currently reading a paraphrase The Clear Word by Jack Blanco. Professor Blanco is a religion professor at Southern Adventist College. (unfortuanately The Clear Word is not yet on line but if you google it you will find places that sell it)

"The LORD is my light and my salvation
Whom then should i fear?" (reminds me of one of my favorite songs)

"4. The one thing i ask of the LORD,
the think i look for,
is to remain close to HIM my entire life,
to see the beauty of HIS character
and to talk with HIM in HIS temple

6... I will go to HIS tabernacle
and offer sacrifices with shouts of joy.
I will sing songs of thanksgiving to my GOD
