Exodus 20:1-3

NAB: 1.Then God delivered all these commandments: 2 "I, the LORD, am your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, that place of slavery. 3 You shall not have other gods besides me.

NCV: 1 Then God spoke all these words: 2 "I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt where you were slaves. 3 "You must not have any other gods except me.

Living a negative seems hard to me. What is this really saying? There is ONE GOD, YAHWEH, HE is our GOD and HE should be our only GOD. HE is an Awesome GOD. It is our privilege to know HIM, to worship HIM, to love HIM. HE is the center of the universe! HE should be the center of our lives.
